Life is bittersweet like dark chocolate. As Carl Jung fittingly described, “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.”
It would be my honor to be able to embark on this journey with you to help you be empowered as an individual, couple, as well as a family unit.

My venture into the mental health field can be described as an unexpected encounter, and the decision to specialize in Clinical Psychology came due to my sprouting love for this field. Many people are oblivious about the importance of maintaining healthy psychological wellbeing and some might even find it intimidating to visit a psychologist for the first time. Thus, it is essential for me to provide a smooth transition for you to comfortably engage in therapy with me.
Being raised in Malaysia, having had the opportunity to pursue my studies in Hawaii and living in Singapore help me to develop a deeper appreciation for people with various ethnic backgrounds. My clinical experience includes working with a diverse mix of clientele ranging from working professionals to refugees (from Iran, Syria and Iraq). I have worked with individuals who struggled with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, gambling disorder, bereavement issues, life stress and relationship issues.
I adopt an eclectic approach and practice with a combination of evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Client-Centered therapies (e.g. Rogerian and Gestalt Therapy), Logotherapy, Solution-Focused therapy and Systemic Couple Therapy. Projective tests and expressive arts are also utilized in session as needed. I am also certified to conduct psychological assessments. Apart from clinical work, I also work with large-scale corporates through the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) in providing interventions that are designed to address behavioural problems and psychological well-being of employees.
