Dr Livia Teo

Dr Livia Teo is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist who practiced at the Singapore National Eye Centre for 15 years prior to joining Nobel Eye and Vision Centre. As a specialist in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, she treats orbital conditions such as thyroid eye disease, fractures, and tumors, and performs lacrimal surgery for blocked tear ducts. Dr. Teo also conducts routine eye screenings to detect and manage common eye diseases, ensuring optimal vision care for her patients.

Dr Elton Tay

Dr Elton Tay is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist with dual accreditation in Ophthalmology and Aviation Medicine. He has managed a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, myopia, presbyopia and dry eyes. He has a special interest in glaucoma care, offering comprehensive management including screening, laser treatment, minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS), and complex procedures such as trabeculectomy and tube implants. Dr Tay also supports the visual health of aviation personnel by managing ophthalmic conditions in aircrew and air traffic controllers.

Eye Surgery Offered at Nobel Eye & Vision Centre

  • Blepharoplasty – Also known as eyelid surgery, this procedure removes excess skin or fat from the eyelids to improve vision or achieve a more youthful appearance.
  • Cataract Surgery – A procedure to remove a cloudy lens from the eye and replace it with a clear artificial lens, helping to restore clear vision.
  • Ectropion Surgery – A procedure to correct eyelids that turn outward, helping to protect the eye from dryness, irritation, and excessive tearing.
  • Entropion Surgery – A treatment to correct eyelids that turn inward, preventing discomfort and irritation caused by eyelashes rubbing against the eye.
  • Epiblepharon Surgery – A surgery to correct extra skin or muscle folds near the eyelid that cause eyelashes to press against the eye, preventing discomfort and irritation.
  • Glaucoma Laser Treatment – A laser procedure used to manage glaucoma by improving fluid outflow or reducing fluid production in the eye. Common types include peripheral iridotomy, iridoplasty, and selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT).
  • Glaucoma Surgery – A procedure to lower eye pressure and prevent vision loss in patients with glaucoma. Techniques may include minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, or tube surgery to improve fluid drainage from the eye.
  • Laser Retinopexy – A laser procedure to seal small retinal tears or holes, helping to prevent retinal detachment and preserve vision.
