Dr Zheng Zhimin is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Nobel Psychological Wellness Centre. She graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS (MBBS) in 2008 and Royal college of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych UK) in 2012. She was also the Clinical Representative of ASCAT committee (Assessment and Shared Care Team Programme) and Clinical Lead of Gender Care Service. Dr. Zheng has a passion for women’s mental health, as well as gender and sexual minority mental health care. She established the Gender Care Clinic in IMH to provide psychiatric care for the gender diverse population. Dr Zheng is experienced in treating conditions such as anxiety disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia and obsessive compulsive disorder. She also manages specific mental health issues related to marital conflict, parenting stress, infertility, post-partum depression, and gender/sexual orientation issues.

Dr Zheng trained with several hospitals in Singapore and has worked at the Institute of Mental Health more than a decade. During her practice in the departments of General Psychiatry and Community Psychiatry, she managed a wide range of clinical conditions and also worked closely with community care providers to provide holistic treatment. She has continued to provide talks and training in mental health awareness and management. She was a clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and the Psychiatry Residency Programme, due to her passion for teaching.

She is currently an Adjunct Lecturer for the Faculty of Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Health, a programme run by NUHS Department of Paediatrics. She is also the vice-president of AsiaPATH (Asian Professional Association for Transgender Health).
